Dear Valued Unique Customer

The below message is sent from our Asia office with regard to the tight air freight due to peak demand.  Please be aware of slower transit times to be expected on deferred and direct routes due to potential backlog at the major hub airports such as Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, and Tokyo.  If you have any sizable air shipments (+3000 kgs), please do contact our office in advance so that we can coordinate planning with our origin offices.

Thank you for your support of Unique Logistics International.  We appreciate and value your business!

Best Regards

Dear All,

Due to the recent upsurge of air freight demand particularly the tremendous increase of Hi-Tech & Toys shipments were being switched from ocean to air to catch up the Christmas sales, the air space out of HKG is quite critical and tight this week. Besides, the air market has been very slow for last 9 months, most carriers reluctant to increase any schedule for this peak season that made the space situation even worse now. Almost all the airlines are having backlog situation as well as for the major Asia hubs like NRT, TPE, ICN.

Therefore, the average transit time will be relatively prolonged for at least 2 to 3 days for normal shipments and probably longer for those sizeable shipments.  In order to best protect your upcoming urgent shpts, please alert us by addressing should you have any large size and/or extremely urgent shpts that has any arrival deadline and we will do our best to protect.

Thank you for your kind attention.

Best regards
Peter Li
