RE:                               Updated Air Rates

 

I want to thank you for your support of Unique Logistics International (ATL) LLC.  I have listed the updated current rates (subject to change) below:

 

A)        Volume Weight Conversion:    Please find below the method for computing airfreight as cargo will either be rated on actual weight (gross weight) or dimensional weight (volume weight).  The greater of these two is equal to the chargeable weight of the shipment.

 

1)         Number of pcs x (length x width x height) in inches = cubic inches

Divide cubic inches by 166 = volume weight in lbs

Divide cubic inches by 366 = volume weight in kgs

 

2)         Number of pcs x (length x width x height) in centimeters = cubic centimeters

Divide cubic centimeters by 2715 = volume weight in lbs

Divide cubic centimeters by 6000 = volume weight in kgs

 

B)         Airfreight Service:      

 

·                     Above rates do not include local origin handling charges (Hong Kong = usd.27/kg; Taiwan = usd0.18/kg).  If these charges are not paid by vendor, then they will be collect charges to your account.

·                     Cargo is rated on the greater of actual gross weight or dimensional weight.

 

Added to the above will be a usd55.00 origin handling and a usd55.00 destination and terminal handling fee.  Rates are also subject to fuel surcharge and War Risk Surcharge/ airline security (WRS) as imposed by airlines.  Currently, the fuel surcharge is usd0.30/kg and the WRS is usd0.30/kg of chargeable weight for most origins.

 

All rates, service fees and surcharges are subject to change based on fluctuation in the air transportation market.  We will notify you of these changes as they occur.
